In 2006 - 2007, as per the decision of the executive committee, and after realising that only through imparting knowledge it will be possible to bring changes in the lower strata of the society it was decided to rename the organisation as GnanaJyothiSamsthe. Through this organisation it has been creating awareness to women and men in the 65 wards laying stress on Legal education, health, domestic system, nursing and nourishing children, solid waste management, comfort centre and economic reforms of women. This and the award given by Women and children welfare social welfare departments of Mysore Corporation has helped our organisation create its footprints in the city and towns.
